Not sure where the wind will take you today?
Neither am I
My eyes perceive the color orange in this moment,
on the wings of a butterfly.
Orange makes me feel good.
When there is a depth of feeling that I can touch,
that will offer me, the memory of harvest.
The pumpkin patch, the berries in the yard,
my Mom baking the Thanksgiving dinner.
Only those shades of orange trigger emotions
connected
to treasured memories.
That feeling of being deeply nurtured,
arrives with the rich colors of autumn.
There is comfort in this fleeting "orange" moment.
As I observe autumn's timed release of the old,
my intention is to remain stable.
I can shift graciously, even as the winds blow,
within this atmosphere of swift change.
Carnelian, in its many gemstone tones of orange
reflects a collective ray of hope.
A new earth, in a new time.
Within these hues, I find the sweetness of a promise,
that all is in continuous and creative flow.
I allow strength and confidence for myself.
